One-on-one Art Therapy Sessions
If you are a carer, a one-on-one art therapy session gives you the opportunity to nourish and reconnect to yourself, and also express any difficult feelings or worries you may have right now. Through art and creative processes, you are able to express, explore and process, challenging feelings, life situations/events, and reduce tension, stress and anxiety. The therapeutic aspects of art-making to express and make sense of our feelings can be liberating and brings deep personal insight and connection to self.
Art therapy encourages free and spontaneous self-expression through creative techniques such as drawing, painting, collage and sculpting. You don't need any artistic ability! And the session flows based on your personal and specific needs.
To enhance your sense of wellness, and if you are open to it, I may also bring in Mindfulness/Meditation to strengthen your body/mind connection, and to increase your overall sense of well-being.
Small Group Sessions
I also run small group sessions for women who would like to share sacred space with others and explore general themes of wellness and positivity through art.
A SOUL ART session is about soul care and exploring a wellness theme that is relevant for most women, and especially carers. For example: inner strength, happiness, self-love, who am I?, growth, purpose, self-care and nourishment...
You will feel renewed and reconnected to yourself as you de-stress and nourish your body, mind and soul through art-making, mindfulness/meditation and journalling.
